Abstract

The latest Wireless Communication (WC) technology and increasing wireless application, needs wider bandwidth, multiband, and low-profile antennas due to the major demand in both the commercial and military applications. Fractal shaped antenna elements is one of the initiated antenna research projects in various directions by commencement of above factors. Commonly one or dual frequency bands needs to operate each antenna for the purpose of various applications where different antennas are required. Due to this, space and place problems were created. Multiband antennas are employed to solve the use of single antenna which can function over huge frequency bands. To build a multiband antenna, fractal shape is applied to antenna geometry. Using Microwave Studio Suite, construct a Sierpinski carpet patch antenna and obtain design characteristics such as patch size and feeding position (CST).
