Abstract

We show how to calculate by sidewise dispersion relations the matrix element between nucleon states of ${u}_{i}$, the scalar density belonging to the $(3,\overline{3})+(\overline{3},3)$ representation of $\mathrm{SU}(3)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}\mathrm{SU}(3)$. In particular we find a vanishing nucleon matrix element for the combination ${u}_{0}\ensuremath{-}\sqrt{2}{u}_{8}$ in the limit of the pion mass approaching zero.
