Abstract

The Hesiodic Catalogue of Women is replete with catalogues of brothers and sisters, and yet interactions among siblings are fairly sparse in the extant fragments. This article surveys the representation of sibling interactions in the fragments and contextualizes them within the broader ideological framework of the genealogical poem.
