Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Immature oocytes retrieved from controlled ovarian hyperstimulation cycles have been shown to fertilize normally but not typically result in successful outcome. Oocyte derived chromosome aneuploidies are associated with implantation failure and early pregnancy loss. In this study we investigated the comprehensive chromosome constitution of immature oocytes that were allowed to mature in vitro overnight for ICSI and normal fertilization.
