Abstract

A novel shunt-stub Wilkinson power divider with uniform impedance line is proposed. Compared with conventional Wilkinson power divider, the output distribution ratio of this novel divider is controlled by the length of shunt stubs. It is quite suitable for unequal power divider, especially for the case of high distribution ratio and large power capability. Explicit deductive equations, equivalent circuit models and design parameters for this novel shunt-stub power divider are derived. Finally, the proposed structure is used to construct three power dividers whose distribution ratio are, respectively, 6:1, 4:1 and equal split. Measured results show good agreements with simulations and denote the applicability in practical engineering.
