Abstract

While there is a general recognition that unrecognised epididymal obstruction (EO) may account for cases of vasectomy reversal failures, there is no consensus on when to perform a vaso-epididymostomy (VE). The recommendations have varied from a VE for all cases of intra-operative findings of vasospermia to only those with vasospermia and poor quality vasal fluid. This study is to determine when a VE is justified in men undergoing primary vasectomy reversals.
