Abstract
Objective To explore the short-term efficacy of pulsed radiofrequency combined with adriamycin injection in C2 dorsal root ganglion for the treatment of cervicogenic headache. Methods Twenty-eight patients with cervical headache were retrospectively analyzed, and all patients were treated by pulsed ra-diofrequency and adriamycin injection in C2 dorsal root ganglia nerve under CT guidance. VAS, pain attack fre-quency, duration of each attack, analgesics taking dosage, quality of life were evaluated at 1, 15 d and 1, 3, 6 months after the treatment. The complications were recorded. Results The VAS, numbers of headache attack, duration of each attack, cases and dosage of oral analgesic drugs were lower at 1, 15 d and 1, 3, 6 months after the treatment than those before the treatment. Conclusion Plused radiofrequence and adriamycin injection in C2 dorsal root ganglion under CT guidance is an effective method in the treatment of cervicogenic headache.
