Abstract

Objectives: Antegrade cerebral perfusion makes deep hypothermia non-essential for neuroprotection; therefore, there is a growing tendency to increase the body temperature during circulatory arrest, however, the prolonged time of lower body ischemia can lead to increased morbidity and should be avoided.
