Abstract
AbstractThe aim of this short note is to demonstrate that the emphasis on Moses’ Levitical ancestry in the beginning of his birth account (Ex 2:1) reminds the tablets containing Sargon’s birth account. However, Ex 2:1 also contains ideas that take the opposite view of Sargon’s auto-proclamation and his destiny as a conqueror.
