Abstract
Presence of Cercoleipus coelonotus Kinn, 1970 (Acari: Mesostigmata: Cercomegistidae) in Spain, the first record of this mite and family in Europe, is reported from Ips sexdentatus Boern (Coleoptera: Scolytidae) in Leon on Pinus pinaster Aiton.
