Abstract
The short circuit current analytical calculation and simulation model of the shipboard medium frequency power system is presented in the paper. The proposed simulation model is based on the Matlab software, and capable to deal with the particular characteristics of the shipboard medium frequency power system. The validity of the model is confirmed by comparison to the analytical calculation results.
