Abstract

In order to study the erosion rate of the sandy coastal, and forecast the erosion station in the near future, a model of the coastal evolution had been established by one-line theory and the normal expressions of the Code of Hydrology for Sea Harbour of China, based on analysing the long-time evolution of the nature sandy coast in Hebei Province. It was proved to be true and reasonable after verifying the measuring data in 2000 and 2006, so it could simulate the evolution of the coastal line and forecast the erosion condition of the nature sandy coast during a long time. The results of the study show that the erosion scope would move towards to the south, and the region from Dapu river to Tazigou will be the center area of erosion by 2026. The conclusion can also be applied to the important gist in protecting and management of the nature sandy coast. The study uses the one-line theory on the evolution of natural sandy coastal erosion creatively, and also proposes the datas and ideas in the next research.
