Abstract

The structural health monitoring (SHM) technologies continues to develop because of the increasingly difficult to inspect and assess bridges with traditional manual methods for practical needs. However, It is still difficult to apply SHM to practical bridges according to the theory and technology of damage identification and location. More attention has been attracted by the safety and service performance of high-speed railway bridges under high speed trains. In this paper, a detailed static and dynamic calculation and analysis was applied to the service safety evaluation of Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge on Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway. The reasonable sensors layout was analyzed, and the SHM data was put forward for the service performance evaluation method and its detailed indexing system. This evaluation includes direct assessment of measured parameters, the variation evaluation of the parameters, and comprehensive evaluation. Finally, the service performance evaluation of Dashengguan bridge was proposed and presented based on part of the measured acceleration data. Meantime, the suitability of evaluation indexing system was proposed and verified as the fairly well vibration characteristics of Dashengguan bridge. doi: 10.12783/SHM2015/57
