Abstract

It is essential to evaluate shipborne gun's maintainability design schemes during its scheme design phase. Experts usually present linguistic labels to express their opinions on this kind of problem. The method of uncertain linguistic multiple-attribute decision making applies to the maintainability design scheme evaluation. In this paper we first introduce the operations and relations of uncertain linguistic variables. Then we discuss the ULHGM operator based evaluation method under uncertain linguistic environment, including the definition of ULHGM operator, the assignments of expert weights, attribute weights and operator's associated weights and the evaluation procedure. Last we give an example on utilizing this method to evaluate the ship borne gun's maintainability design schemes.
