CIRCUITS LIEUTENANT CARVEL HALL BLAIR, LIEUTENANT CARVEL HALL BLAIR U.S. NAVY The Author graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy in 1944. After graduation he served on USS Wilkes-Barre (CL 103) until his assignment to the Submarine School, New London, Connecticut in 1946. He then served on USS Odax (SS 484) as Electrical Officer during her conversion to the first Guppy (high submerged speed) submarine 1946–9 and on USS Grampus (SS 523) 1949–50. Then attended the Naval Postgraduate School.
