Shin-Sound Quality Evaluation: Image recognition AI for sound quality evaluation

Abstract

Sound quality evaluation are historically based on psychoacoustical parameters, namely loudness, sharpness and so on. From awake of massive progress of Artificial Intelligence, analysis of sound should be affected by this novel technology. Therefore, in this paper the author introduces an approach with image recognition AI into sound quality evaluation. It results in showing advantages over complex and non-linear sound evaluation. Thus, the idea of "eyes to ears" could lead new application to this type of solutions.
