Abstract
In the region beyond a perfectly conducting surface, a stationary or slowly moving charge produces no electric field. For the magnetic field there is, in general, only partial shielding. Solutions for the magnetic field are obtained in the cases of a conducting plane surface and a conducting spherical surface.
