Abstract

The coupling of Ultra Wideband (UWB) pulse entering cylindrical cavity connecting slot is simulated and analysed employing finite differential time domain (FDTD) method. Through time and frequency domain analysis, electric field coupling for different UWB pulse widths, resonant and enhancement effects of cylindrical cavity are investigated and the coupling characteristics of electric field and cavity resonance caused by cylindrical cavity connecting slot are also analysed.
