AbstractCommunications (MIC: SIC: 4813 NAIC: 517110)Shenandoah Telecommunications is a telecommunications holding company that, through its operating subsidiaries, provides both regulated and unregulated telecommunications services to end‐user customers and other communications providers in the southeastern U.S. Co.'s subsidiaries provide local exchange telephone services and wireless personal communications services, as well as cable television, video, Internet and data services, long distance, sale of telecommunications equipment, fiber optics facilities, and leased tower facilities. As of Dec 31 2007, Co. had six segments: Wireless Personal Communications Services, Telephone, Converged Services, Mobile, Cable Television and Other.
