Abstract

Abstract The level structures of 92Mo have been investigated using the shell model code nushellx@msu within two large model spaces containing neutron core excitations across the N = 50 closed shell. The calculated results are compared with the available experimental results, and reasonable agreements are obtained. The level structures of 92Mo, especially the levels come from neutron core excitations, are interpreted by the present calculations. The systematic features of neutron core excitations in the even-even N = 50 isotones have also been investigated.
