Abstract
Shell International Exploration and Production B.V. recently announced a US$1.25 million commitment to fully fund the new SEG Honorary Lecturer program for five years, starting in 2009. This is the single largest corporate investment in the recent SEG Foundation campaignAdvancing Geophysics Today, Inspiring Geoscientists for Tomorrow. This leadership investment will enable SEG to offer six Honorary Lecturers each year to its professional and student constituencies around the world.
