Abstract

Numerical simulations demonstrate that shearing a cluster of randomly oriented Janus spheres adsorbed at the interface between two immiscible fluids drives their assembly into ordered chains due to the formation of capillary dipoles and the resulting interparticle capillary-induced interactions.
