Abstract
We propose an algorithm that can obtain clear and sharp images without losing the characteristics for blackout images. It utilizes Total Variation regularization, and uses gamma correction for cartoon components and Pulse Enhancement Filter for texture components. The experimental results show that it can obtain clear and sharp images. Our proposed method can be used for life science technology such as security camera and face authentication system.
