Abstract
This paper gives sharp estimates of second-order traces of solutions to mixed problems for Kirchhoff equations and Euler-Bernoulli equations with second- and third-order nonhomogeneous boundary conditions. The approach uses pseudodifferential analysis. These sharp trace regularity results have, among others, important implications in corresponding exact controllability/uniform stabilization theories; they allow the removal of geometrical conditions made in prior literature.
