Abstract

Inlets 2 (1983): First performed by the Sharir Dance Company at the Paramount Theatre on March 11, 1988. Inlets 2 is a variation of Inlets. The same gamut of movements was subjected again to other chance operations, this time for seven dancers insetad of six. The music by John Cage for conch shells with water and recording of the sounds of fire is played by Paedar and Mel Mercier and the composer. Trio #3: This piece is the third in a triology choreographed by Yacov Sharir and dedicated to Jimmy Turner. This piece was funded in part by the Texas Composers Forum.
