Abstract
An innovative multi-directional beam-steering shaping technique for offset Gregorian reflector antenna is described in this paper for getting enhanced peak-gain. This technique is applied at relatively shorter-focal length reflector antenna, which could accommodate easily on shorter height spacecraft bus. Shaping technique reduces steering gain-loss over larger steering angle. In Gregorian antenna, feed horn and sub-reflector are fixed and only main reflector antenna is moving. The results of Gregorian antenna obtained with physical optics method (PO) is compared with those obtained using method of moments (MoM) method with good matching.
