Abstract
Objective To investigate the shape of bone defects in the anterior teeth after orthodontic intrusion in periodontally compromised patients.Methods Orthodontic intrusion of elongated maxillary incisors was performed in 11 adult periodontally compromised patients after CSF arid root planing.CT scan was taken before treatment (TO) and after the finishing of orthodontic intrusion and alignment (Tl).Results Angular bone defects displayed in the mesial and distal side of a tooth in patients who underwent single tooth intrusion.Conclusions Angular bone defects were usually observed after orthodontic intrusion of a single elongated tooth with fiberotomy and root planing.
