Abstract

Summary Engineering programs often are a collaborative effort between engineers, managers, and software designers. This paper chronicles how a microcomputer program for analyzing well logs from shaly sand formations evolved when an "expert" was used not only to provide technical information but also to aid in developing the overall program structure.
