Abstract

Increasing awareness regarding the prevalence of sexual abuse as a significant factor for clients in residential treatment has created an even greater need for data, training, and policy development in the long-ignored area of clinical management of sexual incidents. This study presents an analysis of a survey of critical sexual incidents reported by 95 child care workers in three agencies. Implications for training and therapeutic intervention are discussed.
