Abstract
(Abstracted from Gynecol Oncol 2018;149:227–229) Sexual discrimination, harassment, abuse, and bullying occur in all industries and have for decades. In October of 2017, media and news outlets exposed prominent professionals in the entertainment industry and other settings who took advantage of their status of power and influence to engage in workplace sexual harassment and discrimination.
