Abstract

This article defines and discusses six common sexual dysfunctions: premature ejaculation, i?npotence, and ejaculatory incompetence of the male; and orgasmic difficulties, dyspareunia, and vaginismus of the female. The importance of viewing the dysfunction in terms of the relationship is stressed. How the “uninvolved” partner may contribute to the dysfunction and bow the dysfunction may affect the uninvolved partner is also discussed.
