Abstract

This article presents a case study of a young man with severe learning difficulties who was presented to the psychology service following an allegation of sexual abuse. It addresses the difficulties in investigating allegations of sexual abuse, particularly in people whose communication skills are very limited. The methodology used and the difficulties in investigating the abuse will be discussed in relation to the research literature reviewed in a previous article (Fenwick, 1994).
