Abstract

Abnormal circadian rhythms are endophenotypes of several psychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia (SCZ). Further, there are sex differences in rhythms, both in control subjects and in SCZ. However, little is known about how rhythms differ between men and women at the molecular level or whether there are disease-related rhythm alterations.
