Abstract

A 48-year-old man had severe thoracic fracture and paraplegia after falling 7 m 3 weeks earlier. Physical examination showed hypoesthesia below the inguina, grade 0 weakness of the lower limbs, absent deep tendon reflexes, and a negative Babinski sign. Radiographs (Fig. 1A), computed tomography reconstruction images (Fig. 1B and C), and magnetic resonance imaging (Fig. 1D) revealed T10 and T11 vertebrae fracture, with T10 dislocating anterior of T11 totally.
