Abstract

A 27-year-old male patient was diagnosed as severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), having problems of skeletal Class II jaw related with mandibular retrognathism, orthodivergent facial pattern, dental Class II malocclusion, and occlusal plane canting. By intervention of miniscrew assisted rapid palatal expansion (MARPE) and maxillomandibular advancement (MMA), the clinical result presented significant improvement in functional and esthetic aspects after 18 months of treatment.
