Abstract

Three new glycosides (1–3) together with four known ones (4–7) were isolated from the roots of Scrophularia ningpoensis. Their structures were elucidated through extensive analysis of HR-ESI-MS, NMR, and ECD spectra. The anti-inflammatory potential of the new compounds was evaluated by measuring their ability to inhibit lipopolysaccharide (LPS) induced nitric oxide (NO) production in RAW 264.7 macrophage cells. In addition, the cytotoxic effects of the new compounds on HepG2, 4T1, and A549 cell lines were evaluated.
