Abstract
A simple formula is derived for the settling time of operational amplifiers with FET input translators operating in strong inversion and with frequency-independent feedback. The amplifiers are modelled by a non-linear input stage and a single pole. The formula is valid for amplifier differential-input voltages smaller than the pinch-off voltage of the FET input transistors.
