Abstract
EPA filter housings are mandatory in bio-safety laboratories class BSL 3 (exhaust air) and BSL 4 (supply and exhaust air). HEPA filter elements have to meet the requirements of EN 1822 after manufacturing but are they still meeting quality requirements after delivery and installation as well as later during operation? The solution is compact measuring equipment to check both the efficiency ratio and integrity of the HEPA filter elements without de-installation.
