Abstract

We present the experimental result of phase locking of a 7.3 W cw Nd: YAG slave laser by a 200 mW single mode cw Nd/YAG master oscillator. Using a heterodyne interferometric technique, the slave oscillator cavity length is locked on resonance with the injected frequency. Good phase noise spectral density is obtained. The experimental results and the theoretical computations are in good agreement.
