Abstract

MEDICAL SERVICES - About 300,000 people in Britain are known to have diabetes and perhaps 300,000 more have diabetes but are unaware of it. Tests for glycosuria are among the investigations carried out in the multiple screening clinics which some Local Authorities are now organising, and some general practitioners have undertaken diagnostic surveys of their patients.
