Abstract

Educational service is transformed post liberalization and become a consumer market. Educational institutions in India are facing more demand in service than they could cope with because students of today are far more informed and have more choices in terms of institutions to pursue their higher studies. As the higher education is moving from content to context, the role of educational institutions in providing the quality of service is getting important. Understanding the importance of Service quality is furthermore important in the present educational system. This paper studies the critical service quality dimensions which influence the service quality using SERVQUAL instrument. The Confirmatory factor analysis is carried out using AMOS 18.0 to study the inter relationships of Service quality dimensions and the fit indices were compared with the standards.
