Abstract

The telephone users want to use the functionality of multiple services, so it is necessary to invoke multiple services in one intelligent network (IN) call. These cause the interaction between services. Service interactions are caused by the invocation screen, the charging problem, the function exclusion, and the function interference. Service interaction can be resolved by analysis and detection in the service creation phase, avoidance in the service deployment and subscription phases and dynamic resolution in the service invocation phase. In the BUPT IN project, we have realised an improved service logic execution environment (SLEE) and service interaction manager (SIM) to resolve the service interaction. Thus, the service providers can design each service separately and simply, and need not consider other services and service interactions.
