Abstract

High serum total IgE levels are common in chronic pulmonary aspergillosis. This novel study indicated that serum total IgE is a possible biomarker of the disease activity in the aforementioned condition. Immunofluorescence staining indicated a possible role of IgE in disease pathogenesis.
