Abstract

1. Serum albumin and transferrin were demonstrated in bull ( Bos taurus frontosus-male) seminal vesicle fluid. 2. The seminal vesicle fluid proteins showed an electrophoretic mobility similar to that of blood serum albumin and transferrin. 3. Transferrin phenotypes were the same in the seminal vesicle fluid as in the serum of the three compared bulls. 4. The gel filtration on Sephadex G-100 revealed the same molecular weight of the corresponding proteins in the bull fluids. 5. Either albumin or transferrin of the seminal vesicle fluid cross-reacts with the corresponding serum protein on immunoelectrophoresis.
