Abstract

1. 1. Serum proteins of Oreamnos americanus, Alces alces and Ovis dalli were analyzed by starch-gel electrophoresis and radioautography with Fe 59. 2. 2. A characteristic protein pattern was found in each species. Oreamnos, Alces and Ovis had two, two and one transferrins respectively with no intraspecific polymorphism. 3. 3. Protein patterns of Canadian and Alaskan subspecies of Alces alces and Ovis dalli are indistinguishable.
