Analysis of serum proteins has become a common diagnostic procedure, and a variety of techniques are now available for qualitative and quantitative measurements. This book is written primarily for the clinician (medical student, house officer, and practicing physician) who wishes to further his understanding of the methods of protein analysis and the relationship of protein abnormalities to the pathogenesis and phenomena of disease.
