Abstract
Often in the past, with respect to psoriasis, observations have been made only to be disputed by equally competent observers. Such an observation was that of Grutz and Berger (1) who found an increase in the total fats in the serum of patients with psoriasis. These patients were obtained from the charity clinics of the Jefferson Davis Hospital and the Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas, and from our private practice.
