Abstract

Background and Aims: The ability of human serum to induce accumulation of intracellular cholesterol in cultured cells was described as a phenomenon of blood serum atherogenicity. The present study was performed to assess a potential role of serum atherogenicity in prognosis of atherosclerosis development.
