Abstract
SummaryIt was found that in 45 patients with rheumatoid spondylitis, 22% had a 1–1 haptoglobin type, 47% a 2–1 and 31% a 2–2 phenotype. These results were compared with published phenotypes of a normal population and a population with peripheral rheumatoid arthritis. Differences of borderline significance were observed.
