Abstract

A 22-year-old male patient presented with sudden severe diminution of vision in the right eye (RE) for 1 day which was associated with flashes and floaters. He was eventually diagnosed to have posterior microphthalmos with serous macular detachment in the right eye. The appropriate investigations and the treatment, along with the possible pathophysiology are hereby discussed.
